The season kicks off with the Helsinki Regatta in June, followed by the traditional Hanko Regatta. The rest of July is the perfect time to prepare for the NJK-organized Six Metres only regatta held at the very beginning of August.
August continues in familiar style: first the Sinebrychoff Challenge, followed the next day by a relaxed cruise in the Viaporin Tuoppi. During the Champagne Regatta, the three-day Finnish Championships will be sailed (Friday afternoon start, with two races per day on Saturday and Sunday).
The season concludes at the Brändö Regatta—your final chance to improve your position in the ranking standings.

ÅBBS Dominates the 2025 6mR Ranking
ÅBBS delivered a commanding performance in the 2025 Finnish 6mR ranking, securing both of the top two positions. Lillevi claimed a convincing overall victory, showcasing consistent speed and tactical precision throughout the season. Close behind, Merenneito II sealed second place, completing an impressive one-two finish for the club. Antje sailed strongly as well, finishing third and rounding out a competitive top three.

Finnish Ranking series 2025
The Finnish 6 Metre Ranking Series is a national sailing competition consisting of seven regattas held throughout the season. Each participating boat's five best results count toward the overall ranking. The winner of the series is awarded the Kommodorens Hederspris trophy, which is presented at the Finnish 6mR Association´s annual autumn meeting.
This year promises a thrilling season, as a new champion will be crowned. The reigning titleholder, Astree III, will not defend its title, as it will be competing in Switzerland for the season.

2024 Ranking results
The 2024 rankings brought the heat with 18 boats battling it out in one of the most competitive seasons we´ve seen. The action was relentless, with nearly every regatta crowning a different champion—a true testament to the fleet´s depth and skill.
